Dodge CEO Drives a 1971 Challenger

Many CEOs drive flashy foreign cars. Dodge’s  CEO, Tim Kuniskis, not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. His car of choice is a 1971 Dodge Challenger. Take a look at this beautiful car in the interview below:

More videos are available on Dodge’s official Redline blog.

As a teenager, Kuniskis was a drag racer and has remained a car guy his whole life. He always dreamed of owning a first generation Dodge Challenger, and the one he currently owns has always been owned by a Chrysler employee. It started it’s life as an executive car, and then was passed on until Kuniskis became the fourth Chrysler-employed owner to have it.

Kuniskis purchased the car, and had a big hand in restoring it. He admits to having a lot of help with the body work, but was always involved with the design. There was a lot of tweaks to keep the car looking as stock as possible, without compromising on performance. For example, the seats look like stock vinyl, but are actually leather.

A big high five to Tim Kuniskis, not only for being Dodge’s CEO, but for being a true car guy!

If you could restore any vintage Chrysler vehicle, which would you choose and why?
